The Importance of 12 Years Compulsory Education

 Hello there!

This time I will share my experiences taking part of  achieving SDGs goal number 4 that is aiming for quality education. And what I'm gonna do is to spread awareness about the importance of 12 years compulsory education, which is part of the government's agenda to improve nation's education.

The first thing to do is to investigate about education completion rate in Indonesia. according to the data from BPS, in 2020 on average only 63.95% of students complete their study at high school level. that number is quite low and it's means in practice, we're still far away from achieving 12 years of compulsory education. Take example in my local neighborhood, there are 3 students whose decided to stop only at middle school. And for another bad news, COVID‑19 also has wreaked havoc worldwide on children’s learning and well-being

Then, what can we do to improve this condition?

Before taking action, we must do some preparation and planning before. For me, I prepare myself by searching reading source to try to understand how is compulsory education in Indonesia and what are the benefits of it, Also I just realized there are also cons and critiques about compulsory education. But, I believe there are more positive impacts than the negative one. How about you? Feel free to tell your opinions about compulsory education at the comment section!

Now for the action time! But wait, how can a student who is still in the process of being educated, help improve the education itself? Well nothing is impossible and my friends and I already prove it by doing small but meaningful things. Of course, one thing I surely can do to contribute is by finishing my own study into higher level, hehe.

I also decided to make an infographic about the importance & benefits of compulsory education. Here is the result:

Then I post it on my social media to try to spread awareness about the importance of 12 years compulsory education. You can also share it by yourself to further spreading the message!

And, I also try to help and motivate my neighbor's child, who is currently sit at elementary school. By helping him learn how to use Google Classroom, and by helping him finishing his homework. By doing that I hope I can help him continue his study until the end in the midst of hardships of online school.

Well that's it, small and simple actions that I already done this week, but perhaps you and I could make bigger actions for this nation in the future. Stay safe everyone! Thanks for reading! Leave some comments! Cheers, see you!

Education in Indonesia really needs to be improved again, both by the government and us as students. By doing small things like what you have done, such as helping neighbor's children in doing assignments from school, it is very important in improving the quality of education in Indonesia. Nice blog👍

Brilliant idea!,because education is the main thing for everyone's future, during the pandemic many people have difficulties both in education and the economy. Therefore, as long as we are able to help others, then do it, even a small help means a lot to them. I hope with this article everyone can be motivated to help others and save the future of our nation.

I think it could be the first step to improve the quality of education in Indonesia, who knows later Dios could become a teacher or teacher in the future and can improve the quality of education in Indonesia.

Italian Doctor Who Warned About Lack of Protective Gloves DIes From Coronavirus

A doctor in Italy who described his concerns in a recent television interview about how the shortages of medical supplies meant he had to treat patients with coronavirus without wearing gloves, has died from the illness. Marcello Natali, 57, from Codogno, in the northern province of Lombardy, had also sounded the alarm over the number of doctors who were getting infected, during an interview with the press before he tested positive. He told that he was not able to work with gloves because "they have run out." He said in the interview,  "We certainly weren't prepared to face such a situation. Especially those of our generation, that of the post-antibiotic era, who grew up thinking that a pill against disease was enough." "We have fewer visits to the clinic by choice because we want as little access as possible to an area that is a potential location for contamination." After he tested positive, Natali was hospitalized in Cremo
